August 11, 2022: RakshaBandhan
Respected Principal, Teachers and Friends,
Good
morning to all of you
I am
(……………) of class…………..
Today we
are going to listen about RakhaBandhan.
This year
we are celebrating it on 11th of August.RakshaBandhan
is a festival of brother and sister.
Raksha means protection, and bandhan means bond.
The brother promises to protect his sister.
They both promise to protect their loving bond.
On this day, everyone wears new traditional clothes.
Sister ties beautiful rakhi on brother’s wrist.
She applies tilak on his forehead and gives sweets to him.
Brother gives her presents like dresses, chocolates or money.
People also tie rakhi on their vehicles and pet animals.
It is a beautiful festival.
Thank you
and have nice day ahead.
