This day
is celebrated to mark the tragedy of the slave trade in the memory of all the
people
It is a
day to honour the memory of men and women who paved the way for the end of slavery
and dehumanization. This day is celebrated globally.
This day
is considered very important.
The

on the day of its abolition.
The theme
reminds us that although slavery may have been abolished, its impact remains to
this day, and to understand where to go from here, it is important to examine
history with a critical mind
Thank you
